Capita Strategic Children’s Services supported Government Offices (GOs) with the new responsibilities for the Children and Learner’s Teams for safeguarding children. The areas of work transferred were those involving active in-year monitoring and quality improvement of local authority children’s social care services.
Capita Strategic Children’s Services also had a role in ensuring an effective response to ‘serious incidents’, specifically serious case reviews which occur following certain instances of child death or serious abuse or neglect.
