A local authority had begun their 14-19 planning for the introduction of the government changes and the transfer of responsibility for 16-18 learners. A full review of current 14-19 provision across the county was needed to inform the shape of the future 14-19 service and to ensure full entitlement for all learners by in 2013.
The review enabled the LA to restructure their 14-19 provision and to bring together 14-19 services from Extended Schools and the Learning and School Improvement Service.
