Capita Strategic Children’s Services works in collaborative ways which are designed to bring about sustainable improvements: on one-off projects that provide appropriate solutions to immediate problems and on long-term strategic projects that deliver more profound change. We are experts in our fields and our approaches are evidence based and draw from the latest examples of good practice across the Every Child Matters agenda.
Capita Strategic Children’s Services is one of the most successful providers of strategic children's services support. Over the last eight years we have provided support to over 50 Local Authorities. This has included major service improvement projects, with interim management teams working with authority staff to overcome capacity problems or serious weaknesses in certain services. We have helped to bring about rapid improvements in the quality of service provision – having worked with LAs that were experiencing difficulties, as well as highly successful ones, to develop their services further.
We have continually developed our own service offering to ensure that we can support local authorities and other public/ private sector providers to implement national, regional and local priorities. We also find ways to adapt to continuous change that is manageable, rewarding and can make a real difference to outcomes.
